Eshe president Audrie Mumphrey loves her Caribbean offering because she believes it does all of the things a great pedicure should – exfoliates, softens the skin and takes the client on a mini vacation.
Mumphrey’s secret is a mud that’s usually set aside for body treatments. “Body temperature makes it heat up upon application, creating a tropical feel,” she notes. The “soaking up the sun” sensation is enhanced with a warm towel wrap. The final step is a massage using Aveda’s Caribbean Therapy body cream between toes and on the newly smoothed and polished skin. Following a final, generous misting of floral water, clients float out of the spa.
